Keith Haring Prints
Keith Haring Prints & Posters - Born in Kutztown, Pennsylvania in 1958, artist Keith Haring later moved to New York to study at the School of Visual Arts. Haring began his artistic career painting on empty subway hoardings, but his distinctive style soon gained the attention of commercial galleries. Haring continued to create artworks and paintings for public spaces working on murals all over the world, with illustrations for charities. Haring experimented with body art, painting the body of Grace Jones for a music video. He also became friends with Pop Artist Andy Warhol, who he painted several times. Haring was inspired by city life, graffiti, dance and primitive art. He died in 1990 of an HIV related disease.
