Steven Meyers Biography

Steven Meyers spent over 25 years working as a radiology technologist. As a keen landscape photographer, Steven began experimenting with applying this medical technology to art. This combination of art and science has produced work entirely different to other floral photographers, and last year he produced over 700 images! Steven lives in Washington, USA and works full time as a radiology technologist specialising in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or MRI.

He says of his work: "By using x-rays instead of light, an unusual inner vision is revealed. Nature shows us textures, details and shadows which would otherwise go unseen. Visible light is just a small part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and falls between x-rays and infrared. My x-ray prints are a collection of negatives, positives and solarized images".
