Artist Alice Dalton Brown studied art at the Academie Julian in Paris, and also at Oberlin College in Ohio in 1975. She has exhibited extensively across the US, and her paintings are included in many museums and private collections worldwide. Today she works from her studio in New York, using photographs, collages and studies she has made on location, creating exquisitely detailed, realist paintings of landscapes and domestic scenes.Her breezy, sun dappled interiors and seaside views in oil or pastel are exceedingly popular, including 'Blues Came Through' print, 'Long Golden Day' and popular 'After His Appearance' prints.
